1. That Sinking Feeling, Again

You know the feeling.

That moment you discover instructions weren’t followed, now the outcome is different to what was expected.  Annoying.

That reaction feels like the natural, logical conclusion. It’s not.

The shift I'm working on right now β€” in business, in relationships, everywhere β€” is this:

Negative β†’ Neutral.

Not positive. Neutral.

Because "positive" asks you to pretend. Neutral just asks you to pause.

Instruction wasn't followed β†’ why?

That one pivot changes everything. Instead of the situation affecting you, you start to effect something with it. The irritation doesn't disappear. It just becomes useful.

Affect vs Effect.

Inwards: it drains you.

Outwards: it moves something.

Most people are sitting on a goldmine of useful signal and calling it a bad day.

Your irritation is data. Most people delete it.

The goal is to learn how to use it.

That's The Game.

β€” See you next Friday. 🌿
